Service Technician Job Duties:

  • Maintain and repair various types of electronic petroleum equipment including fuel dispensers, tank monitors, fuel management systems, cash register systems, point of sale systems
  • Install electronic and mechanical equipment for service stations, commercial fueling facilities and related work
  • Provide great customer service
  • Maintain parts and inventory control

Service Dispatcher

Be a part of a small company where you can make a big difference.  The ideal candidate would possess outstanding customer service skills and be able to pay close attention to details in a fast-paced environment.

This position is accountable for:

  • Answering phones while providing excellent customer service
  • Dispatch and scheduling of service technicians
  • Creating work orders
  • Warranty processing
  • Compiling reports as requested
  • Data entry
  • Research and informing clients of new regulations
  • Coordinate with project managers on various tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements include:

  • Dispatch experience: service industry preferred
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Personally motivated

Accounting / Human Resources Assistant

Northwest Petroleum Service (NPS), Inc., a leader in petroleum construction and service with headquarters in Wausau, has an opportunity for a full-time accounting/human resources assistant to join our team of professionals. The primary responsibilities will be to assist the accounting manager with accounting tasks and perform human resource duties to meet company objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare sales tax reports for multiple states
  • Prepare customer credit memos
  • Verify construction dept. projects for accuracy & post to financials
  • Make online payments to vendors
  • Calculate timesheets for payroll processing
  • Process monthly bank reconciliations
  • Calculating timesheets for payroll
  • Pay weekly payables batch
  • Assist with prevailing wage job requirements
  • Assist with month end closing
  • Assist with year-end projects as needed
  • Complete first report of injury forms and required OSHA forms
  • Perform HR functions from new hire paperwork to termination/exit interviews
  • Maintain company handbook update
  • Maintain employee & vehicle DOT compliance
