Northwest Petroleum Service, Inc., a progressive and growing petroleum equipment, installation and service company, is expanding and recruiting a full-time Warehouse and Inventory Control Assistant for our main office in Wausau.

Field Service Technician

Greater Madison & Fond du Lac Area, WI

Northwest Petroleum Service, Inc. (NPS), is family owned and operated and has been a leader in the petroleum equipment service and installation industry for over 45 years! We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our growing team as we expand our Service Department in the greater Madison and Fond Du Lac area.

The ideal Field Service Technician candidate is an individual looking for new and challenging opportunities in their work day, has great customer service skills, excels in technology and mechanics, is detail oriented, and motivated to work independently or as part of a team. The Service Technician must reside in the regional area between Madison, West Bend and Fond Du Lac.

  • Maintain, repair, and inspect various types of electronic petroleum equipment including dispensers, tank monitors, fuel management systems, and Point of Sale (P.O.S) systems
  • Install, repair, and inspect electronic and mechanical equipment for convenience store fueling operations, commercial fueling facilities and other fuel system related work
  • Provide exemplary customer service
  • Maintain parts and inventory for a company provided service vehicle
  • Previous troubleshooting skills with electrical, mechanical, or routine maintenance repairs
  • HVAC Tech, Plumbing, or high-end agricultural equipment skills a plus
  • Computer and Internet Technology (IT) skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain company paid trainings for State and manufacturer certifications
  • Petroleum industry construction experience a plus
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Work indoors and outdoors in all weather-related conditions
