Service Technician Job Duties:

  • Maintain and repair various types of electronic petroleum equipment including fuel dispensers, tank monitors, fuel management systems, cash register systems, point of sale systems
  • Install electronic and mechanical equipment for service stations, commercial fueling facilities and related work
  • Provide great customer service
  • Maintain parts and inventory control

  • Significant technical and practical knowledge
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of IT systems, computer repair, and software tools and applications
  • Prior mechanical, electrical
  • Excels in technology, electronics, and mechanics
  • Enjoys problem solving and working with hands to repair electrical and mechanical issues

  • Desire to work outdoors in varying environmental and weather conditions
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Ability to work overtime when customer demands require
  • Valid Driver’s License required

Service Administrative Specialist

Wausau, WI

Northwest Petroleum Service, Inc. (NPS), a progressive and growing petroleum equipment, installation, and service company, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our growing team in Wausau, Wisconsin. Be a part of a small company where you can make a big difference.  The ideal candidate would possess outstanding customer service skills and be able to pay close attention to details.

This administrative position is accountable for:

  • Customer service support
  • Answering phones
  • General office duties
  • Compiling reports and proposals
  • Control and review job costing/posting, inventory values
  • Warranty processing
  • Data entry
  • Dispatch back-up
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements include:

  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude

  • Ability to multi-task
